The Parallels of Egyptian and Western Culture Ancient Egypt was a time of discovery, knowledge, and the need for power in the ancient civilization. Egyptians during this time thought of family as the most important thing in the world and divorce, although allowed, was very rare during this time since Egyptians saw marriage as a very important commitment.

Ancient Egyptian art is painting, sculpture, architecture and other arts constructed by the civilization of ancient Egypt in the lower Nile River from 3000 BC. Ancient Egyptian artist tried to idealize the universe, not as it actually existed, but more enduring and lasting symbols.

Achievement of Ancient Egypt: The achievements of ancient Egypt can be traced back to the period between 3000 BC to 31 BC. From advances in mathematics, literature to symbolized achievements in medicine art and science, Egypt has made tremendous advances in shaping the world civilization (Winckelmann and Alex, 54).

In my view, Egypt's adoption of a centralized approach was a critical choice. At such an early age, it baffles observers that it was possible to organize large groups of people under one government. Moreover, the Egyptian civilization caught my attention concerning death, funeral monuments, and the use of mummification for preservation purposes.

Known as one of the earliest civilizations, Mesopotamia and Egypt both share set amounts of similarities along with a share of striking distinctions.Environmentally, these two civilizations were formed in similar surroundings, yet their weather patterns show distinctions.Politically, both governments derived from a monarch, yet their laws and punishments distinguished the two’s court systems.

Egypt vs Sumer Back when pharaohs ruled and ziggurats towered, two civilizations rose to form the customs and cultures of today.Ancient Egypt and ancient Sumer were the first two civilizations to establish what we know now as every day life. Even though both of the empires were located relatively close in the whole scheme of things, both cultures evolved utterly different.
